Olivia’s Bat Mitzvah

A few weeks ago, we had the honor of working with one of the sweetest families on a very special day for their oldest daughter, Olivia.  The Bat Mitzvah of Olivia was held at Sinai Temple in Springfield, Mass.  There are a lot of preparations before this day and one of the biggest goals for Olivia was to get her braces off…look at those pearly whites!

Here is the girl of honor with her equally adorable younger sisters.

After the service and Kiddush, an evening of dining, dancing and celebration took place at the Basketball Hall of Fame.

The details were impeccable, thanks to Nancy Goldstein and her crew from Amazing Celebrations.  Stay tuned for an entire post dedicated to how hard this group worked!

Olivia and some of her girls.

Aren’t they a gorgeous family??

This is Olivia’s reaction when she walked into the room for the first time.

Her Great Uncle blessed the Challah.

A special dance for Olivia and her dad…

Olivia’s youngest sister gave an a a cappella performance of “My Favorite Things”.

This was pretty much the largest candy display I’ve ever seen.  I can’t imagine the sugar rush these kids (or adults) had if they ate all this candy.

Jodie - Brian and Kate, thank you so much for capturing every detail of our wonderful day. We could not be more proud of Olivia and all of your pictures show it. We know Olivia and all of our family and friends had as spectacular a day as we did. Thank you again for all your time and effort before, during and after Olivia’s Bat Mitzvah. We look forward to working with you again for the next two!

Missy and Tony

As we all know, the weather in Connecticut has been kind of hit or miss recently.  Missy and Tony’s day started off with a nice breeze and lots of sun.  Since the entire wedding was taking place at Water’s Edge we were able to get pics of both the guys and the gals.  What better way to start the wedding day than with some football in the parking lot:)

The girls were getting ready in a suite at the resort – check out her tiara…and of course the bling!!Back to the boys…

The red walls were perfect contrast for Missy’s dress

The weather started to look a little ominous, but the ceremony was still going to take place outside.

Right as the ceremony ended it began to thunder.  We were on a mission to get all the shots outside.  All of Missy and Tony’s friends and family worked seamlessly with us and were such great troopers through their megafast photoshoot.

Missy and Tony – thank you for surviving through the rain, thunder and tornado warnings.  We hope Hawaii brought you much sun and smiles:)  If you were a guest at the wedding, please click here to see their slideshow, or click here to view/order prints!

If you are one of the proud parents of Amelia’s Angels, please click here to view/purchase more photos.  And of course, none of this would be possible without the wonderful breeders Carol and Marisa.  If you or someone you know is looking for a new addition to their family, please visit Nutmeg Labradoodles.  These pups are mighty popular so you need to reserve them in advance!

Melissa and Mike

Despite all this gloomy/rainy weather we’ve been having the past couple of weeks, we lucked out and got some beautiful weather for Melissa and Mike’s engagement session.  We ventured down to Soundview in Old Lyme, which is where Mike proposed:)  There were so many great shots, it was hard to pick out our favs~

Check out how gorgeous her ring is~

Melissa joked about how she wasn’t the greatest swimmer, so she asked a little kid if she could borrow his floaty.

Melissa is such a ham in front of the camera.  I think she would’ve hung out on the beach all day.

Melissa and Mike~ thanks for showing us a new part of the state we hadn’t ventured to!  We can’t wait to see you guys again in a few weeks for your wedding at The Bond.
